Glenn,

I'm bearish on AMZN as you know, but I visited the devil very late on Wednesday nite (early Thursday a.m.), listened to a number of tracks and ended up buying a couple of CDs due to those audio snippets (my first purchase ever from AMZN): Zoot Suit Riot by Cherry Poppin' Daddies and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I requested overnite shipping.

Immediately after the order was placed, I received email confirmation (nothing new). Immediately when the CDs were shipped (Thursday), I received email confirmation of shipment (I had not experienced that before).

At about 11 a.m. this morning, Friday, I received the CDs by UPS. They arrived in a simple yet protective hard carboard package. The shipping label had been a sticky from the interior insert, which was a simple yet informative one-page document.

Not saying it is worth anywhere near $6B, but AMZN very much had its act together on this particular order. And you know I was looking for flaws.

With less than a 10% dilution, amzn can raise enough cash to pay off the notes. Are the notes callable?
