My dearest Lakers... This is in response to your post #804 from last night. First of all, I would like to tell you a little bit about me: I grew up on a North Carolina rural farm, 12th of 13 children. Early in life I learned how to work. I also learned early on how to survive! I have a considerable loss in value of USXP stock at the moment, but let me tell you, "This little southern lass won't go down without puttin' up a good fight!" Second, I will tell you I purchased my first 60,000 shs. of PKGP on May 14, 1998. a day or so later, I read a very informative, positive post by you on the Yahoo board. I purchased 90,000 more shares. It is not my intention to say you caused me to make that decision; the decision was mine. But I did base that decision partly on your information. I graciously thanked you for your information. (Remember? Wiseowl on Yahoo?) I believed PKGP to be a sound company, making a turn-around. After more good news appeared, I bought more shares, selling another holding at a loss to do so. Eventually, I broke all the "Rules of Investing" and accumulated 1 million shares. I am unhappy at the moment to have a "paper loss," but realize that bashing or venting won't help matters. When the news of the RS came out there was panic, and people sold. The price of the shares fell immediately. I felt something needed to be done to stop the panic. I thought, "Surely somebody can do something." Nobody else took the plunge, so I decided to try the "Power of Positive Thinking," approach as it has worked for me in the past. Can you think of a more effective way? The one you have chosen, so far, certainly hasn't worked. If you come up with something better, let me know. In the meantime, the "Positive Thinking Club" is still open to newcomers. You are most welcome to join as a Positive Thinker! Regards, Marilyn
