Not being a technical person, I don't know a lot about the technology, but why would a big company like Oracle(second largest software company in the world) be interested in Voxware's technology if it wasn't so hot. Granted, this is total ignorance on my part and I'm just going from my memory and maybe it was for something totally unrelated (although I thought it was for their audio and video servers). Oh wait. I just looked at one of your posts which helped.

With respect to IP telephony, initial deployments in that market have primarily utilized standardized codec technologies (and not Voxware's proprietary codec technologies). In addition, initial deployments in IP telephony have been characterized by bandwidth-rich managed networks (Intranets), which networks generally do not benefit significantly from low bandwidth solutions such as Voxware's technologies. Principally, in consequence of these factors, the requirement for Voxware's technologies in the IP telephony market is not expected to significantly arise at least for the next two years, if ever.

Ok, so someone help me here. Is DGIV setting up a bandwidth-rich managed network to be utilized for it's system? My impression was that that wouldn't really be the case, which is why they would need a low bandwidth solution like Voxware's technology? These are developing countries after all. Anybody, please correct me. Also Valentine, what's the date of that release?

It is the contracts idiot-- not the product-- are you blind?
