Jut wait till you "experience" the KLIA.....!!!!

Truly a beautiful edifice. WHen and IF they get it sorted out it will truly be one of the great airports of the world.

Signage and systems are a mess. When you check in look for the counter that services your class of travel... I spent a few minutes in the wrong (not indicated) check in area. Each class has its own counter..... I believe that Business Class for example uses aisle D, the monitors above the counter are supposed to indicate the class, which is not unusual. What is unusual is that all Business Class uses a different aisle. Hard to describe here but you'll figure it out.

DO NOT rely on any monitors of incoming/departing flight info. CHeck at the check-in counter for the Gate letter. If it is C, go directly to the C concourse and check at the info desk. Use the info on the whiteboard behind the desk as "golden"....

Plan on spending an hour or so in the C gate area just looking around. Truly a neat place.

Flight delayed until 00:30 due to missing passenger and having to off-load the appropriate bags. IAW international security rules......

All in all quite a trip. Almost ended up in jail in Newark for harrassment of Continental Mgr. All is well now that baggage has arrived finally!

First "culture shock" item.... $20 cab ride for 6 miles....;-)

Stitch, I told one of my friend in the early 90's that the dow will hit 7000 before the next millennium. Recently, I've become very pessimistic towards the dow jones performance and did the unthinkable that is joining the bears. Harry S. Dent prediction of a dow 21,500 and maybe even 35,000 over the next decade will certainly won't come true. Well, that will be the day Toronto Maple Leaf wins the Stanley Cup or Jamaica making the finals in soccer. HA HA HA ha ha!
