Very good point about doing your DD on the naysayers to see whether they are to be "believed", particularly when they are apparently incapable of telling the truth about the simplest questions posed to them by DGIV investors (who are they, why are they here, where is the phone number, etc.....)

Besides doing DD on the company, one needs to do DD on the posters to see their agenda as well-I totally agree. Of course, the difference is that the agenda for true DGIV investors is quite obvious:THEY HAVE BEEN IN DGIV THROUGH THICK AND THIN, THEY INVEST IN DGIV AND BELIEVE IN ITS PROSPECTS/FUNDAMENTALS.

As far as the agenda of the naysayers, it is also OBVIOUS, although they try their hardest to hide it. If the naysayers are HONEST, why do they have to hide their AGENDA/PROFILES???

Pat, thank you for that post. I have been wondering how someone who is only lurking would react to these posts, and you have given me one very honest data point.

Pat, I have never claimed to be anything other than a small individual investor in DGIV. I have done my own DD and chose to invest my own money, for better or worse. If DGIV does what I think it will do, I will make a lot of money in the future. I don't know exactly when, but I expect it to be sooner rather than later. My own timeframe has been to retire within 6 months, but I have a 2 year window to work in. If I am wrong, I will lose a large portion of my investment. But one thing I will not lose is my honesty and my integrity. I might not be the smartest investor, the most astute, the most knowledgeable about the market and how it works. But I do know a little bit about technology, I am a visionary, and I like what I see about where Jimmy Chin wants to take this company.

Those with an agenda, that claim to not own any DGIV but are here to save me for whatever reason, spending inordinate amounts of time doing so, seem pretty transparent to me. Their goal seems to be to depress the stock price by driving new potential investors away. Now, the only way they would benefit from this is if they themselves wanted to buy DGIV at a lower price, and make more money that way by stealing money from other investors. At least that is my own, personal opinion, and on this July 4th I think I can exercise my right of free speech.

So I am long on DGIV, and in the future we will see who was right and who was wrong. One thing I will never do, however, is in any way become a professional or involve myself in the business of investing. I have seen the type of person who does this and I don't want that to rub off on me.

I love being a little guy.

Thank you for a very meaningful post Pat!

Lately, we have seen a great many strongly worded statements made about Digitcom... some in opposition to and some in support of the company. The statements are made in such a way that one feels that they must make a choice... is the company proceeding reasonably well along the path of a great strategic plan or is the company deceiptful and a scam?

Obviously, the answer to this question is paramount when making the decision to either invest or stay vested in the company. The problem is that not everyone has the resources or the skill to verify all the claims made one way or another. The important thing is to verify or disprove that which one can put to such a test.

Personally, I don't even have the desire to confirm or refute every single claim made on this thread. It is just way too much work! :-) Just as you pointed out, conflict of material statements and/or statements about one's own position or interest in the company cause me to disbelieve ANY of that person's claims. It is a matter of lost credibility and the belief that a liar remains a liar.

Likewise, material statements made by individuals that turn out to be half-truths or twisted truths also cause me to discredit ANY of their statements.

Such is the case with every one of the Nays that have appeared on our thread in the last couple of weeks.

That may be naive and I may be guilty of engaging in polar thinking, but it is me and the way that I think.

Now, the following may be the wrong approach, but it is an honest statement of the situation. I have seen some great dd posted on Digitcom, the industry and the technology. Where I have been able (and had the inclination), I have verified that dd and posted some of my own research and interpretations. I have also done dd on some of the principle posters of dd... a similar technique to that which you just shared... they pass the test that the Nays do not. And once they have passed the test, there is credibility to their future posts.

In fairness, there has been an awful lot of exuberence shown on this thread. Some "wild" statements have been made about prices and timing and such. To me, these statements are "forgiveable" in the context of the excitement of seeing an investment go from pennies to $8 a share and expecting that kind of return again in the future. For crying out loud, who wouldn't be excited? I've learned a long time ago to discount the validity of the projections as opinion, in favor of my own opinion and knowledge.

However, that does not negate the facts that have been brought forth. Those facts stand on their own merit.

Admittedly, I am predisposed toward believing the positive in DGIV. That is because I have taken the time to do the up front work that most of us have done... enough to make me feel comfortable. Because of this predisposition, in my mind, the burden of proof now lies with those that are trying to convince me otherwise. They will not sway me with statements that there is no technology, that the company is not liquid, that the PR's are fake and other such claims. These are easy statements to make and hard to disprove, at least some of them. If I were to make the statement that there never was a Revolutionary War, but that it was history rewritten, how many of us could actually disprove that statement? No... I submit in this case the burden of proof would be on me to back up that statement, not the other way around.

In the case of Digitcom, the burden of proof is on them... not me.

As of yet, there has been no proof.
