FYI - Here in Omaha NE, we have Cox Cable TV, along with ATHM Cable Modem service and the telephone service available also. What makes Omaha interesting is, we ALSO have US WEST Cable TV, along with US WEST Cable Modem service, so we have 2 competing Cable Modem services available to us. I have 2 co-workers that have one or the other, and they both (obviously) like their services. We also have an abundance of 'Normal' ISP's with the avg. cost for unlimited service being $14.95, WITH a web page and multiple e-mail accounts. Remember, this is just an FYI.
