Just remember the SEC's materiality standard with respect to AMAT is substantially different from pure plays like SFAM and IPEC. AMAT can massage their numbers and make overstatements, but because the percentage of their revenues coming from CMP is so small, it is NOT material....hence be very careful in coming to conclusions regarding marketshare. If SFAM's Q was poor, I would suspect that AMAT's CMP business is not doing much better. Yes, this might be an unpopular position on this thread, but I am long on both (much more heavily on SFAM).
