Dias...I think the 8 lines can produce about 32 million units a year not 96 million...

Thatt's why they are going foward with another plant in Ireland...to produce more product for sales in yr 2000.

The profit margin is not $4 a unit for overseas sales....

Ah dont worry about that, There is an interview with the guy in charge of SONY's pc division in this months Boot and he was saying how difficult Sony was finding in keeping up since CPU's have a 3 month life cycle while his monitors have 3 years. And while in Japan the people expect it all to work and entertain them and be usefull rather than a foot warmer, in the US, people expect the latest gadjects and on the IS side they expect the cheapest. And while he was proud of what he was doing, to truely say you have A market is when you do have a market in the US.
