Safe % spread...
A safe % spread of ones capital is a must in todays market. I'd like to suggest the following portfolio positioning.

1) 50 % Cash; The markets having trouble with Asian flu and corrections abound. Any pull back represent buying opps. What to buy?
See 3 and 4.

2) 25 % Bonds; Worried money from distressed countries, and worried investors from this country will erupt in panic buying of the bond each time the market dips.

3) 15 % Stocks; Blue chip only, HD, F, LOW, WMT, WAG, MSFT, CSCO, T,
EMC, ect.

4) 10% Stocks; Wet and wild only, xcit, seek, nscp, aol, yhoo, rmbs,
ktel, amzn, and a fiew others my fingers are too frightened to even type.

Now, if you've got a million dollars and are willing to watch patiently as your money does nothing but travel sideways, you're hooked up! If you have a million just buy CDs, collect the interest and go to the beach, or struggle with the rest of us trying to make a little money become more money by taking what each individual thinks is the right move at the right time for he or she.
Emotion seems to be the fuel, controlling ones emotion should yield profits enough to satisfy ones needs.
Good research, better patience, and above all best of luck to all.
This is a CPQ thread, and my money is in CPQ, for better or worse.

Thanks for the response.....The problem is that fundamentally you are correct but.......Ihave not invested in any internet stocks previously for those reasons and watched all the momentum investors make huge sums of $$$. NSCP offers a potential short term gain similar to what AMZN and YAHOO have attained and NSCP actually has much better fundamentals which could make it a long term hold.If you spend even an hour researching what NSCP is doing it in my very humble opinion as a new investor blows the other internet stocks out of the water.Anyway...I know this is a CPQ thread and this has already gone much further than I had intended....I will definitely reinvest in CPQ in the near future...Good luck to all !!!
