anyone, when i referred to personal attacks, I was not referring particularly to your post, yours was quite innoccuent. I did err by quoting the double standard stuff, however, since that conveyed the wrong impression. I simply used this "quote" since I was not going to go over and find the claims that I am a shorter in cohut with some dark forces, or that I am a market makers trying to sink that stock and few others of the same ilk. So, please, accept my apology. Often the yeas complain about the presence of people with no stake in this stock. This is quite a hollow complaint, IMHO. First, because I post on a number of thread where I cannot even own stock (look up my profile and you will see postings on the Asia thread or the Mohan thread, the semi-equip, and the disk drive general threads, all of which are not related to specific stock. Furthermore, at least one of the ardent yeas on this thread is the one that brought my attention to RMIL by his spamming a very large number of other threads with an extremely bullish assessment of what was then OVIS. I spent a weekend looking up whatever I could on the net on OVIS (in September, I believe) and found a hollow company with no chance of making it as a business enterprise. The argument that maybe one can induce a short squeeze is an extremely bad basis for investing in a company. The rationale and factual evidence for a massive short position were never presented either (unless you want to believe an individual findings without doing your own due dili on that matter). To me, this situation looked dangerously like a P&D situation in which few unscrupulous operators exploit gullible investors on the internet for their own purpose. Just in the last few days, I saw a post here stating without any reservation that this stock will be sold to the shorts for nothing less than $100/share. Considering the number of novice investors seeking "advice" on the internet and SI, don't you think that such "unequivocal" statements of future value would induce the inexperienced investor to plunge? Don't you think that in the presence of such unabashed hype, few should raise their voice and point to the irrationality of such a statement? If my earlier postings last Autumn, when the stock had its hype driven run (there were no fundamental reasons for that run), prevented a single investor from plucking in $10,000 which are now worth maybe few hundred bucks, I have discharged my responsibilities as a "good citizen" of the SI community. I did not select RMIL to be a target of my "wrath", posters from OVIS were the one responsible. I am not going to be dissuaded from posting by ranting "yeas" (and I do not mean you in this respect, the ranters know who they are) on this thread or any other thread when the pumpers come in with their $100/share or equivalent dreams. When it is brought to my attention, and to the extent that time permits, I'll provide my comments. In the event that you think I only post to point weaknesses and never buy a stock, do a search on my name with Tora, Tora, Tora. On the other hand, I do not necessarily stay married to a stock either, I suggested buying GATE at $.5 and told everyone I am bailing out at $2.5 (I have been negative since). If you have followed some of my postings you will see that I have had some good things to say about many other stocks as well. IMHO, RMIL is a lost case, at least for the time being, my opinion is that the private placement suggested would get stockholders to place good money after bad money. The reason, there is no stated business goal for that PP. It is going to allow the revival of what is a shell company. RMIL has no ongoing business operation. What is the future business of RMIL? How do you value this future, just based on a potential short squeeze? If that is the case, you should very well find from independent sources what is the real short position in this stock, not the unsubstantiated stories that no one in authority and position to know is willing to put down in writing for all to see.
