If I paraphrase God's words instead of giving them directly to you, from his book, I will no doubt have a chance of making an error. I am a man, not God! We make mistakes.

So now you're telling me that the Bible is man's words, not God's?

In translation or copying, there could be mistakes!

Yes! There could be a mistake in man's words but not God's according to Isaiah 40:8. The verse clearly puts a dent in your plea that it's "Ok" for today's manuscripts to have errors but that they did not exist in the original manuscripts because according to God, His words never die.

What should God do if I do make an error, strike me down on the spot?

If you were truly being inspired by God, you would not make an error because God is perfect. Verses such as Titus 1:12 that contain Logical Fallacies show that on this particular occasion, Paul must have been without divine guidance or else he wouldn't have made a statement that cannot be true.
