Even in a crash situation, AMZN will stay afloat for a while as shorts buy to cover, although not for very long.

I heard on the radio this weekend that there are 18 mill shares outstanding on AMZN and 9 mill are short. If so won't all desperate short covering drive the stock to 200? It sure likes a good long
to me. At least for another week while everybody buys it back to cover.
I attended a seminar last weekend and Michael Murphy-famed short seller shorted ANOTHER load of shares at 100/sh. I wonder at what price he will cover.

Roger Smith,
thanks for your advice in not averaging up short AMZN. Me too got clobbered even w/ 100 shares recently and also deep in red. I think the madness also has a limit, so I will average up when it increases to 130, then 160 and try to hold the line for long term. Well I need to find some funds now like a loan pegged against my IRA.
Wish all the internet shorts best of luck.
(I will get a job soon as psoft consultant! if I put away the pain of my stocks and study hard in 3 more weeks - and thank you)
