Thanks, Martin.

Maybe it's my browser, or the way I'm navigating, but the Megsinet site does not appear to be set up optimally . Growing pains, I suppose.

Martin I agree completely. There does seem to be a bit of circumstantial evidence of a "linkage". My first guess would be that both companies are building in the same direction. Look at the News here for June 22;
megsinet.net
Notice most of the cities either upgraded or scheduled for near term upgrade are pretty much the same cities where LDnet has announced Internet Phone Service. The private nationwide DS3 (45 mps) Network also seems to run parallel to LDnet's (FNet's) interest.

Frank, the relevance is in the "appearance" that both companies are
going in the same direction together. Megsinet appears to be supplying a first class backbone, for LDnet's use, while Megsinet-clec
is talking "the packet phone company" for itself. When I looked the other day I may have missed the Megsinet-clec thing, or it might be new since then. My impression several days ago of Megsinet was that they were an ISP and backbone.see (#reply 35439) I just think it is interesting and coincidental. Any other connection would be pure speculation on my part. Lets just call it general information as I
have no evidence to suggest that it is anything else.

Hope that is clearer,
Ray

Martin Am I wrong or was someone trying to say earlier that LDnet and Megisnet are one company and we now own both????
