CSS III system thoughts/comments: Hi all. I'm using the 3rd revised CSS system. It's not a purely mechanical system, (i call it TA "on the fly"). Anyways, I'll go over the components: 1) 5 moving averages. those are important since the 9 day ema is my exit trigger.. however, it's not an automatic exit. I always look at how my other indicators are doing.equis.com 2) MACD - i like to use it on daily and weekly scale.equis.com 3) Super RSI - I like to use it with the trigger line at 50. Bullish if abv 50, bearish if below 50.equis.com 4) Parabolic SAR - always use with the abv indicators to confirm.equis.com 5) Power MA 2 - the wiggly lines sometimes you see in my price window. here is an example:geocities.com 6) Trend Strength - a customized indicator that shows "how much omph left". I want to see it rising and ideally around 30-60. Anything abv 80 means, the rally is almost over. 7) William Acc/Dist - a customized indicator that I use to show me if money is leaving/entering the stock.equis.com 8) Bbands -> i threw out. 9) And i always ask my girlfriend to give me her opinion too. HEHEHEH ====================================== As you can see, my system has a whole list of stuff I check when doing TA. The above system is my TRADING SYSTEM. Along with my indicators, i also use fibonacci to give me support/target prices/resistances. Trendlines and Gann fans.equis.com equis.com Now, let's talk about the CSS SCAN SYSTEM. This scan system only scans using the TREND STRENGTH criteria. (this is b/c I believe it's a good indicator to use and gets you in early). Thus, every day when i post my CSS SCAN RESULTS, it is looking for that certain buy critiera for the TREND STRENGTH indicator.
