Terms being what they are as a function of the times...progressive is meant to be LIMITED. Nobody here (I would be amazed if they did) wants to eliminate gov't. Limited gov't is generally what we are looking for....considerably more so than our current one.
Lack of gov't leads to dissolution and eventual defeat. Anyone who has read a history of the Celts or the Hanseatic League realizes what the lack of discipline in sociopolitical formations leads to....
Still, that doesn't mean an active gov't is desirable.
