I agree that an ignore feature or a skip feature would cut down on the complaints that SI gets every day . I have also requested that a skip button be available to block out the offending posts .

These paid shills are getting so obnoxious that they are turning SI into such a trashy site that you have to wade through a mountain of FUD before you can get to a cup full of facts .

Nor is it necessary.

Suppose the posts of one person are objectionable to a large number of other persons and suppose those other persons filter out the posts of the one person. Then the other persons won't be responsing to posts they have not read.

Silicon Investors may not support this feature even if they receive many requests to do so.

They surely won't do so if they receive only a few requests.

Won't all of you please tell Jill of your preference.
