I doubt it. I am afraid that we will have to wait for something to happen.

I too don't think there will be an announcement before earnings. I am
also a little skeptical about the Microprose speculation. I'm not sure
how much of it is warranted. Microprose has hundreds of employees and
THQ is in no position to acquire them outright: that's absurd. A THQ
acquisition would have been more plausible if Japan was probably the
#1 holder of US Treasuries. But they're not (the U.K. is), so to me
this is a non-issue in the weeks ahead. On a more serious note, EIDSY
made an announcement confirming that they are looking to acquire a
company in the sector. But I don't think that is THQ's style really.

OT* I visited COMPUSA and EIDSY's FFVII for the PC is ranked #3.
GT Interactive's Unreal is ranked #1. The May PC DATA shows GT has 3
top seller games out of 10. But the stock is suffering. I know GT had
insider sales in May before it announced a penny EPS (compared to 7
cents a year ago). Does anyone have thoughts about the current
rankings of GT games and what it may mean for EPS going forward?
