Perhaps I am missing an obvious point, but why would ToySoldier's expression of his opinion on a public investment board like this require getting a lawyer? He has quoted no insider information and has implied none.

If one needed a lawyer for making asinine comments, then we should all be required lawyers as a condition of getting on this board.

Isn't due diligence the responsibility of any investor, which (to me) means not accepting anybody's word on a fairly anonymous board like this as gospel. Who cares who is monitoring these comments?

Mr. Hodal,

Exactly what planet are you from? Let me understand. Maybe I'm not clear - nor are countless others on this SI board. This is a place where people can post opinions, predictions, and impressions.

So you are leading us all to believe that future stock predictions are grounds for a lawsuit? LOL!!! I was asked what MSFT stock would do in my opinion. That was my response.

The good thing is - unlike the USA - I live in a country where we don't sue someone just for looking at them the wrong way. And thank God I do Live here! I thought it was the US that coined the term "Freedom of Speech". Guess you dont practice what you preach down there.

You should hire a lawyer just for being asinine! Maybe read up exactly what the purpose and objectives of the SI board are all about. What, are you a MSFT lawyer? If you are, I thought MSFT is keeping you all so busy that you didn't have time to play on the internet!

LOL - Thats why I love being on the internet. People like you give me a lot of entertainment. Its better than the comics at times.

Cheers Bill! (PS - take a pill and enjoy life for once)

Toy

If I had made that statement I would now have hired a very good lawyer. You have NO IDEA who is monitoring your asinine comments!

They're coming to take me away, ah-ha! They're coming to take me away, ho-ho!

William,
Why would Toy need a lawyer for comments like that? While I don't agree with him about many things in almost every post of his, I haven't seen anything but typical, colorful and, often, annoying/insulting posts. I still can't imagine that he's said anything that would warrant legal action.

I'd be curious to know why you think that, even if you want to reply with a private message.

Thanks,
Mike

How do you know Win 98 showed less than expected sales ? Do you have data to back up your statement ? Or are you just throwing rumors ? Do you know what is the expected sales of Win98 ? Expected by whom ?
