Dale,

Presidential candidate Ross Parot said once that if our government continues to meddle in the affairs of American business, we will wind up making potato chips while the rest of the world makes the micro chips.

He was RIGHT!. Look at how Northern Telecom (Canadian!!.. I am very proud to be Canadian/Bajan (read Barbados) and now for the inevitable question, I am caucasion <VBG>, one mention of Barbados and I always get asked ;-) ) anyway.. NT bought BAY.. We also have NN uphere.. Infact I think there is a site siliconvalleynorth.com (there is a silicon valley North). So Perot was right!

Yeah, that is probably true. Or like Nike they move all operations out of the country, but keep the HQ in America. We really are in a global economy, Intel has operations all over the world.

Precisely and as Elmer added, Intel has a x-license so they really have NO excuse for shareholders to cough up a lot of $$ in a bidding war!

Steve

Ross Perot

Isn't he the guy who said we need a $3.00/gallon gas tax to balance the budget? Clearly a sharp and level headed individual.
