I quizzed my guys at work, of course they prefer the ones they own. However, the one with COX/ATHM likes it because he also has COX telephone service along with cable tv and the cable modem. he says it is pretty inexpensive. He had to go thru hoops to get the Phone service hooked up just right- caller ID didn't work, voice mail didn't work all the time or was sometimes inaccessable, but he got it straightened out. The US WEST user says he has had cable tv 'outages', but for some strange reason, he's never had a cable modem outage......... f.y.i.
