*ot (sort of) Just went to your new site and read your posts. Thanx for the URL. BTW, Big Doggie. Just wondering. You were in the oil patch in the '80's. When this sector was tanking, how were the underlying (?) workings of this business doing? Was it a time of consolidation? I know FLC's owner was at that time buying up rigs fast and furious and creating the company he has today. Did you enter this business then? I worked for McDermott in the Persian Gulf in the mid 70's. Came back to the states in 80, and forgot about oil until last year. Other than watching Houston and the oil states in general going bust, I didn't pay much attention to the business at all. Glad you're around, pups. Thanx again.
