Deloitte & Touche Recognizes Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Los Angeles Area
Announces Finalists in "1998 Los Angeles Technology Fast 50" Program
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 1998-- Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services firms, announced the finalists in its ''1998 Los Angeles Technology Fast 50,'' an awards program that recognizes the fastest growing technology companies in Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Santa Barbara counties.
These companies will be honored at an awards presentation on Sept. 17 at the Loews Santa Monica Hotel, where the final ranking by revenue growth will be revealed. All finalists will also be considered for the Deloitte & Touche ''Technology Fast 500,'' a national ranking which will culminate in a technology CEO conference next year in Scottsdale, Ariz.

To be considered for the Fast 50 status, companies must produce a technology, manufacture a technology-related product, be technology intensive or use unique technology in problem-solving and devote a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology. Additionally, in order to be eligible, companies must have been in business for a minimum of five years with 1993 revenues of at least $50,000.
