Steven Rogers, No intrinsic value ! you're kidding with me RIGHT? Many Ancient Wars are fought and millions of soldiers have die is because of this brilliant yellow metal. Gold has been cherished for centuries, and has endured the ravages of tough economical time. Gold is a symbol of "POWER" and has always been regarded as a metal of value and beauty. The yellow metal is not only used for jewelry, it is also used in today's high tech world, areas like aerospace, dentistry, medicine, electronics, architecture, and etc., All you have to do is check out all the oil baron in america and see how much gold they used in their monster mansion. The European is always wishy-washy, one day they decide to keep their gold reserve and another day they want to unload it. Just watch, at the end they will accumulate gold again as an insurance. Gold is tarnished for now because of a strong US dollar and a fake bull market. Once the dow gets the deep impact we all been awaiting for then you will see what i mean by "Death Of The Dow". The Dow is flying high but at the same time the air is getting thin. Have you notice that only a few analyst made a prediction on how high the dow would go up this year. (don't you consider that an omen?) Armageddon is almost here, once people see how vulnerable the dow can get, the first thing they do is chicken out and run for cover. When U see the dow goes down the toilet, the next event you'll see on your television is big blue & other blue chipper laying off thousands of workers. Which means No money will be coming into the stock market because all the investors is broke and also worry about losing their job. The US stock market will eventually bounce back, but the question is when?? 3 months, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years. The dow can stay limbo for years, but that's when gold will show its true value & its true mystical power once again. Steven Rogers, just do some research on gold then you'll understand what i'm trying to say. It will save me a lot of time typing it up.
