RE: Utlimate Stock Championship III

The contest page is not Officially up in it's FINAL phase, until Sowbug says: "It is up and running." I just noticed it had been worked on over the weekend.

I have forwarded the messages from everone to Sowbug, for corrections and additions, and inclusion in the contest. I am glad we have a lot of interest, because we seem to have a lot fewer participants.

I am not the contest director - I am just a "promoter." Sowbug is going to get us set up and running, and Ed Edwards will take over the day to day updates.

Good luck to everyone, and remember.... it's only money.

Jack

OT

Timing is everything. EGGS, my pick for USC II, is up 33% so far today.

As to the contest, looks like sign-up was less than last time 28 vs. 63 as I recall. Anymore coming on later?

As to stock chat rooms, I thought the following article was interesting. It mentions SI a few times. It is written for CFO's to understand the potential hazards of stock chat rooms. It points out some interesting horror stories:

cfonet.com

What was also distressing on this site was its salary survey. More than 50% of CFO's have less than 3 years in a job, and over 19% get less than a year. 23.1% are fired. Talk about kill the messenger. I wonder why I want another one of those jobs?

Back to ASND, up a buck. That's a good thing! Can we have some more?
