In my opinion SYCR blew it on Upgrade-98, they had a shot at some great income and lost. In order for Up-98 to have made good sales it would have had to be in the stores and advertised before Win-98 was released. Lets face it no one knows about Upgrade-98 and it has to be installed before one installs Win-98. Win-98 has already sold the first wave and SYCR for whatever reason was not there. I have averaged down on SYCR all the way to .23 and hate to see this but the facts are the facts. If SYCR can get Up-98 out and advertised they can still make money but nothing like they could have if they would have had Up-98 out a long time ago. I have most of my problems with Win-98 ironed out and the OS seems to be stable.

It is not at CompUSA, Computer City or Best Buys in my area but I think they just shipped it out last week so maybe it will be on the shelves this week. Good luck

You are correct. It is still being offered free on the SYCR site. It appears that the email below of 7\02\98 appears to be incorrect as of this day. >>> UpgradeAID 98 should be available at CompUSA and other large software stores within one to two weeks from now. It is currently available through Tiger Direct and we will have it available for purchase from our website (www.syncronys.com) in a couple of days.
