Re "what are people thinking?" IMO they are thinking that the Internet is much more important than the machine you use to get on to it.

Darren, Sure these companies may be good for the future, but how many years will it take for the PE to fall back into something reasonable. I mean half people investing in Yahoo probably don't have a clue where their revenue stream comes from. In addition I still feel that SEEK is the best of the bunch when it comes to the engines. They have a better system of searching which is generating more and more loyal users, which results in more page hits, which results in higher-earnings. JMHO Steve
