Cement and aggregates continue to be IMO excellent trading and long term holds through the year 2001. The sector continues to be very strong. Supply remains very tight.

LCE's Missouri plant was shut down for a couple of weeks about 6 weeks ago for unexpected repairs. Inventory carried over for sales, but eventually this lack of production, while minimal in the total corporate structure will eventually show up as reduction in potential sales, (if you follow it this closely)it is making so much money that it will probably go completely unnoticed.

Medusa/Southdown was a brilliant merger, savings are already in place.
Great company.
