Have you ever bought 'Benzin' in Europe?

I would be in favor of a gas tax but I don't trust the politicians with the revenue. This is like giving a kid a dollar in a candy shop and asking him to save it.

in California they already have a $3.00 per gallon gas tax. It's called "automobile insurance".

Not to mention Smog Check, 7.5% income tax, $500,000 houses on 6,000 sq ft. lots, etc.

I heard an ad on the radio this morning for low cost CA insurance w/ no accidents, moving violations for three years. I think the number was 1-800-211-save. I might be off by a digit.
