Hi Lucretius. In P&F terms, the NYSEPB & stocks above their own 30 week average are still bearish. In P&F terms, if the NYSEPB reverses up to a column of X's, we would be bullish. If it turns out to be a bubble, we would get defensive again when the indicators returned to columns of O's. If you have Tom's book, take a look at the section on "It's ok to be wrong, but not to stay wrong". That section seems to have been written for the scenario you allude to where the market gives us a head fake. Under this scenario, the NYSEPB would get us out before much damage is done.
