I am getting an initial opening price at 49.25 per share. Does anybody have ability to confirm this? If so why is price down before hours?

Marketally (sic), I'm with the Kiwi (on the value of productive assets).
The fungibility and liquidity of equities is also an important issue, as you can't buy forged shares through a reputable broker!
ps- Maurice: I AM ready, with half my net qorth riding on the Q.
(If you can be mqurice, I can have qorth)
pps- as today is my birthday, a pleasant rise in Q value would be an acceptable nod from the folks in SD towards a fan in NYC... or something.
