I think I'll just leave my shares where they are and go away for a year. The suspense is getting to me.

My feelings exactly.

I have no answers, either, only questions. I feel the comments re "Siemens Newbridge Networks" indicate the companies have developed a closer tie and whether it's only for the UK is unclear. There's a contact address at the bottom of the article and I've written to ask for clarity. If I hear back, I'll let you know.

Reading through the GEC-related articles, I learned much I hadn't known before, primarily how closely tied they are to BT. Also the importance of being able to upgrade versus scrapping and starting over.

At any rate, between now and the Oct. 1 effective date I would imagine we'll get more clarity on what the new structure means.

Later --

Pat
