RC--hang in there--this board has generally been free of the bullsh*t that plagues so many other threads--it will likely return to that state.

It looks like July 9 now for the Zenit launch according to Space News Weekly.

Another upgrade:

BancAmerica Robertson Stephens Initiates Coverage of Loral Space & Communications With a Buy Rating
SAN FRANCISCO, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- BancAmerica Robertson Stephens research analyst Ann Henry initiated coverage today on Loral Space & Communications Ltd. (NYSE: LOR - news) with a Buy rating and a target price for year- end 1998 of $33. For year-end 1999, Henry's target price is $42, based on her sum-of-the parts valuation.

Loral Space & Communications (LOR) is a leading player in the satellite communications business, with interests in the design, manufacturing, and operation of satellites. Loral's valuable satellite assets, exceptional management and large market capitalization make this pure play company a core holding in the growing satellite services sector.

''We expect Loral to use roughly $350 million of the proceeds of its recent offering to make acquisitions/investments to expand the breadth of its satellite footprint and/or the breadth of its service offerings, providing potential upside to our target prices,'' said Henry.

In addition, Henry expects appreciation in Loral shares to be driven by
the following reasons:
-- Upcoming Globalstar satellite launches.
-- The ramp up in satellites launched and capacity utilization in the
fixed satellite services businesses.
-- Greater visibility on the Cyberstar project.

Loral's management has a long and enviable track record for hitting targets and creating shareholder value.

Nice attitude. Your first post demands that the thread prove that it's worthy of your attention. You tell us you have nothing meaningful to add so, stay, go, who cares.
