Has anyone gotten an answer from GE IR regarding restrictions on general communications (web page, e-mail, press releases, interviews, etc.) until they (the SEC) have completed their review?
It seems like so much wasted time after the article in USA Today during which GE could have built on that exposure. I have not seen in any other major publication a follow up to the USA article.

If nothing else, GE could have put out a release to investors talking about the interview with USA Today, talk about progress with the SEC review and give investors some idea about why the content of the article was so non-specific regarding the estimated size of the property.

The only reason that makes any sense to me is a specific SEC request to NOT publish any new reports or releases until their review is done.

Anyone have any specific news on this issue? (and please, I already know what most of the opinions will be, I am wondering about statements from IR, knowledge of trading laws in this type of situation with the SEC, etc.)

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Morning to All! Patrick, that would be great to see Guido's
report, like you suggest, but I would settle for a one liner saying
all required SEC reports are being electronically filed today! Then, the MM's could finish their paperwork.
