Answer, clearly Yes! You need to understand about the deity of God. That Jesus is part of the deity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These parts all make up God. All three

Now you're talking about the Trinity. Perhaps belief in it is required to make the statements fit your cause.

However we have yet to even discuss the Trinity nor establish that it exists. Jesus (Pbuh) never taught the Trinity and you will not find evidence from the Bible that the Trinity exists. Before you can start relying on the Trinity, you must first prove it's existence using the Bible.
