er, amzn is suffering mightily now. nobody cares. this is blatant greed and pyramiding at its absolute worst. it is fun when going up. when going down, though, everyone will cry out about how unfair the markets are.

FWIW - I bought "Story : Substance, Structure, Style, and the Principles of Screenwriting" by Robert McKee last week from barnesandnoble.com for 19.25 (they said the retail price was 27.50). Amazon.com's price was 22.40, and they quoted a list price of 32.00.

AMZN doesn't discount that many books.

shopping.com has the best price. They seems to discount every book,
even textbooks.
