the price may not have been slashed or anything like that but it has certainly dropped about 20 some points from the high..

furthermore, IBM usually doesn't crash like you might remember from the turnaround period.... from what i've noticed, IBM usually trades sideways at a lower price and in a holding pattern until times get better...

that's what i think is going on right now...

Do you have any reasons you would like to share that we might expect IBM to drop any significant % from it's current value? Stocks in an up trend are always near their all time highs. Are you suggesting we should only buy stocks that are in a down trend? Scott
