Roger, Have you been watching KLB go from 3 7/8 to 11 3/8 in 3 days?
They are an internet audio book seller who came out with a good subscriber news release at the same time that amzn is exploding up.
Do you think that KLB is a good short?

Roger, I've been bigtime wrong about the internuts (finally covered my XCIT short last week at a substantial loss), but the move today sure looks like a blowoff. At this pace, YHOO may well hit 200 before the day is over. But, given all the gap openings, the internuts may exhaust themselve and give us a nice reversal.

Articles over the weekend say all the searchers are likely to show good revenue growth this quarter, as after X-mas advertising has been heavy. But next quarter will likely be down, as summer is a slower time on web and other media.

On NPR this morning, a reporter said all the searchers (portals) will be showing flat numbers in eyeball counts this quarter. Apparently while web use is up, more people are unwilling to "stick" in the portals. Web diversity cannot be denied.

My guess is YHOO's release of earnings on Weds (and the accompanying analysis) may bring the current mad phase to an end. But, as they say on the Kahuna thread, BWDIK!
