According to the way I interpreted the c-call, 1/3 of the shortfall is one deal that would have been about $12 million PDM in the qtr.
And about 7-cents in earnings.

Thats a big deal.
Not sure I believe it.
But guess time will tell.

Who would be that big?
And want implementation that quick?

We could guess that this was hinted at in Q-1 call.
Still not signed?
Will it be?
Negotiation for lower price?

Just back off of vacation.

To all of you I generally feel sorry for the stock action that occurred. Although many of you were sure that I was saying something because I had a short position on SDRC, I did not.

Although I don't know much about what's gone on the past few weeks, I was interested in Jerry's note about an 'out of the box' SDRC PDM solution. If they do a good job here I believe this will help them. Past experience, indicates that rather than reinvent a product for a market, SDRC likes to switch things off on their main product. I am interested more on product stategy, rather than on any one product. Low cost MCAD products will continue to hurt PTC and SDRC in the US, although I must limit my comments in this area.

I cannot believe that you will see significant further price erosion unless Windchill becomes a factor in the next quarter.

Once again my apologies and to those who know about my sour feelings about PMTC, right on, the sorry mess they find themselves in now could not happen to lousier guys!
