Mulan is doing 50% better box office than recent Disney animated features.

Bought more today @$105.

...Disney, its animated film "Mulan" continued to
perform well above expectations. For the three-day holiday weekend,
"Mulan" took in an estimated $11.6 million and has so far grossed more
than $77 million domestically. It appears to be headed for a final U.S. tally
of between $140 million and $150 million, far above Disney's past two
animated films, 1997's "Hercules" and 1996's "The Hunchback of Notre
Dame."

That is important, because Disney's annual animated-film offering is crucial
to the company's bottom line. Analysts estimate the animated movies
ultimately generate profits equivalent to about four times their domestic
box-office take, because of Disney's ability to make money with them in
home video, consumer products and its theme parks.
