No doubt that MINE will have to release corporate stock to obtain a JV, but sell directly to institutional investors, like Mutual Funds? Perhaps I'm clueless, but I believe that most institutional investors are required to buy shares on the open market, IE, from me and you to participate.

Of course there are things that MINE can do to make corporate stock available to outsiders, but that they are going to and when, is conjecture at this point.

I'd appreciate some knowledgeable responses.

Cheers, Jon

<< Claude but how many of them have possibly the largest gold find in the world? >>

Of course, the largest the assets of a company are, the largest its market capitalization (and shares outstanding) are. But this is a process that must go progressively, as you raise more money or acquire new assets.

It seems that MINE's shares outstanding went from 31M in early 1996 to 100M+ today. From their fincancials, I don't see that they have raise that much money in the last two years. Were all these shares issued to acquire their properties ?
