I heard on the news this morning (insomniac early) that, an estimated 190,000,000 gallons of used motor oil is dumped down America's storm drains and sewers annually. If that isn't an argument for the success of Green Oasis, we have failed as a company and as a society. Shame on those who participate in that kind of activity. Iowa has gov't. sponsored facilities throughout the state for people to take their used oil for deposit (free of charge) as well as other hazardous waste materials. I don't know where the oil goes after that. I have a good idea it goes to refiners and processors other than those built by Green Oasis. I'm still trying to find a way locally to finance a unit but, have been met by many road blocks.
How do other states handle this situation? Anyone?
