I like the Internet but not so much...
YHOO and AMZN are up 15 and 10 already and seems like there is no stopping to this stupidity. The rise in the Internet stocks is looking ominous day-by-day. Of course, no telling where this thing stops because not even a bad day in Asia will check this binge as that is taken as a positive for Internets.
All valuation has been out of the window; looks like staying away seems like the best course of action at this point.

My thinking on the matter is that it is safer to play puts regardless of one's ability to spot a top. I figure that if your put is going out worthless then you probably would have been in the hole also if you had shorted. This way you just role over your put before or after every expiry. Mind you however one might pay more of a premium this way but at least the downside is capped. I look at what is happening to YHOO today and I'm glad I'm not short anymore.
