Is Jesus the son of God? Looking at the testimonies of John and Mohammad !

We have three witnesses testifying for and against this proposition.
For the proposition that Jesus is the son of God is John the Apostle, a personal friend and eyewitness of Jesus Christ. John spent three years in daily conversation and communion with Jesus. John personally observed the works of Jesus and heard all His teachings. He was also with Jesus at His Crucifixion.

Against the proposition is Mohammad and one of his discipiles-. Mohammad was born almost 600 years after the Crucifixion of Jesus. Mohammads testimony is based upon a "TRANCE" while in a cave in Mecca. Mohammad had no first hand knowledge of Jesus or His words but bases his testimony strictly on his trance. Raymond, the disciple of Mohammad bases his testimony sticly on Mohammad's dream.

Dear readers, you are the jury. Read the testimonies carefully and determine which testimonies carry more weight. Your decision could determine your eternal destiny.

THE TESTIMONY OF JOHN THE APOSTLE

Chapter: 1John.1

1: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2: (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3: That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4: And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
.

1 John 4
15: Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

1 John 5
5: Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

1John5
20: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1John5
9: If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10: He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12: He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

THE TESTIMONY OF MOHAMMAD FROM HIS "TRANCE"

SURA IX: 30
"The Jews call 'Usair a son
of God, and the Christians
Call Christ the Son of God.
that is a saying from their mouth;
(In this) they but imitate
What the Unbelievers of old
Used to say. God's curse
Be on them; how they are deluded
Away from the Truth!------

This is the complete evidence and testimony of Mohammad. This is the testimony and witness from Mohammad that Raymond Norris exalts above the testimony of the eyewitness John the Apostle.
Which do you choose to believe dear readers---the trance or eyewitness.

Steve, thanks for eManna's daily missles. I am profiting from them.
Today: 'come out of the dark background of self and enter into the mind and will of God.'

Excellent thought.
Emile

Isn't that what we've been talking about???? You are confusing me.

No. We haven't even mentioned the Trinity.
