Guy's I just found this writeup of the new S3 3D chip...it looks surprising VERY GOOD....read through it and tell me what you think. ogr.com Now with Diamond going with this chip things look very good indeed. -mike-

And so, all the clay-footed puppets of doom and gloom can be seen sticking their prognostications Savagely up their graphical IO port and beat a retreat back to lick their little ROMS and buses. Ah, but don't worry. They always come back. JP Phil: I too, like what they are now reaping after the company's little faux pas with the accounting cycle and rather large FU with the design cycle miss(es). With the management change, and technological direction they've taken, I don't care what word comes out of S3 as long as it's about design wins....and grabbing market from ski...I mean ATI. :-)
