So sell your SUNW stock (if you own any). I'm willing to assume, at least for now, that Sun's management has some use in mind for NetDynamics and has considered the issues.

If NetDynamics is as bad as you suggest, the other companies in the Java universe shouldn't see it as much of a competitive threat.

RE: Netdynamics acquisition - The CTO of Weblogic already stated that
he cannot understand why Sun doesn't practice what it preaches. The
NetDynamics product has poor support of the Java enterprise API's and
is really is a completely proprietary product. 100% Pure Java is
turning out to be 100% Pure BS.

This acquisition will be as big a flop as ChorusOS and Diba were.
Remember the big stink Wind River made when they thought Sun was going
to compete with them with ChorusOS?

Is there really a game plan here or is McNealy just throwing stuff at
the wall hoping something will stick?
