Wait for low 80's or high 70's toward the end of this year or the beginning of the next. Don't buy at a higher price than 95.

Salomon S. Barney Releases 'Ten+ Exceptional Names'

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Salomon Smith Barney Inc. on Monday released its list of "Ten+ Exceptional Names," 15 stocks that the firm believes are "especially attractive investments for the coming year."

The 15 companies are: Alcatel-Alsthom NV (ALA), Allstate Corp. (ALL), Applied Materials Inc. (AMAT), Amgen Inc. (AMGN), Black & Decker Corp. (BDK), Chase Manhattan Corp. (CMB), Honeywell Inc. (HON), IBM Corp. (IBM), Motorola Inc. (MOT), Navistar International Corp. (NAV), Schlumberger Ltd. (SLB), Schering-Plough Corp. (SGP), Williams Cos. (WMB), Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) and Xerox Corp. (XRX).

Salomon Smith Barney in a release said it picked the stocks based on "solid fundamentals and growth potential over the next year (July 6, 1998, to June 30, 1999)."

Last year's list grew 31.3% from June 30, 1997, to June 30, 1998, before transaction costs, the release said.

i can't suggest a certain price to buy at but if it were up to me i would say that the price isn't moving down that much...then again it could... but recently i've been seeing strength in DELL and other techs like MSFT INTC and IBM too....

if you're doing this for long term in my opinion i would buy.... if you're short term i would not make a move.
