It's as if all the momentum went to the internet stocks.

Question to all:

Last quarter, MD and TM met with stock analysts (I believe) on April 8 to give the "halftime report" to around 300 analysts....

I am assuming that there will be no meeting in New York this quarter...that the same "information" will be discussed with analysts at the annual meeting on July 17....

Question for the thread: Do a lot of analysts make it down for the annual meeting, or will it be more a conference call situation....If so, will it take the format of the Q1 analyst meeting (ie., lots of analyst participation, lots of Q & A in which MD/TM will make it pretty clear to the "nervous nellies" that things are rollin', or will the annual meeting produce more "comments from afar...cannned quotes" that we are used to hearing during the quarter.... I would think that the annual meeting is MD/TM's time to 1-on-1 major Dell stockholders and influential analysts....(I guess I am showing a little ignorance about the process...appreciate the help).

I believe the analyst meeting in New York was the main driver for the 1st quarter pop....Looking for the same this quarter.....
