And I'd like to point out that the quote in Valueman's post of "doubling transponder capacity" every year for IP traffic is a growth rate that is significantly less than the current growth rate of backbone traffic terrestrially. According to Gilder, it is growing at a rate of 100 times every 18 months, or 1,000 times every 3 years! Much better than Moore's law. So, I suspect there will be demand for every transponder and system (skybridge, et al) that one could create. Dragonfly ("Rah! Rah! Go team go!" I hate feeling like a cheerleader)
