On May 12th, RDRT announced they had hired Dr. Joesph J. Miceli, Jr. from Kodak to join them in the optical head development. Their website on February 4, of this year, described the following optical trial program:

indicating better density than other technologies.

Anybody close enough to the company to guess if this could be the next major announcement coming from RDRT? Is this a cost prohibitive strategy? Would it jump ahead of IBM's GMR, or cause a flood of customers because it could be the next great technology? Are they ramping up production?

It just seems logical to me that we are approaching two months since hiring this gentleman who should have been able to make an impact on creating this program.

Looking for reasons why I bought RDRT, and input, Dennis

Its called the "doldrums" Dennis. Sails just flap slackly in the hot sun while waiting for signs of a wind, any old wind, on any horizon.

Best....Tom
