Hello, I'm a trial member but have been reading this discussion for some time. I'm in the medical field and I am directly involved with the use of these seeds. Here's what I know:

1. Yes, Amersham has increased production, however, their is still at least a 4 week wait for seeds.

2. Amersham does not make Palladium seeds, so NASI has an advantage there.

3. In response to the claim about radical prostatectomy having a better survival rate, this may change in the coming years as there will be a much larger pool of data due to all the new patients who have had implants. Also, patients receiving a prostate implant go home about 4 or 5 hours after the procedure compared to weeks recovery from surgery.

4. One thing no one has mentioned, seeds can be used for other solid tumors, they are not just for prostate cancer.

5. NASI or Mentor is not doing a very good job of marketing their seeds and yet they are selling them all. We tried to order seeds from NASI bacause of the delay with getting them from Amersham. They sent us some paperwork, we submitted it and that was the last we heard from them. Helloooo, you want customers? Here's one.

More later. I'm holding.

Richard, any current insight into Nasi ?(I assume you still hold a position). Would you or are you buying Nasi at this potentially distressed price? I am considering initiating a small position in complementary form with my investment in TGX. Thanks for your input.
